A devastating terrorist attack targeted the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) facility in Kahramankazan, Ankara, resulting in the deaths of 5 individuals and injuries to 22 others. The Ministry of Interior has revealed the identities of the victims, including TAI employees and a taxi driver. The terrorist attack took place at the entrance gate of TAI’s Ankara Kahramankazan campus on Aviation Boulevard. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire shortly after the explosion. **Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya: “PKK Likely Behind the Attack”**
Following the incident, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya visited the site and provided an initial statement. He suggested that the attack was likely carried out by the PKK, a known terrorist organization. “We believe the PKK is responsible, but we will share more information once we complete the identification of suspects and gather additional evidence,” Yerlikaya stated.
**Victims’ Identities Released**
The Ministry of Interior has confirmed the identities of the five individuals who were killed in the attack. Among the victims were **Cengiz Coşkun**, a quality control officer at TAI, **Zahide Güçlü**, a mechanical engineer, **Hasan Hüseyin Canbaz**, a TAI worker, **Atakan Şahin Erdoğan**, a security officer, and **Murat Arslan**, the taxi driver.
**Heartbreaking Details Emerge**
Among the victims, **Zahide Güçlü** was celebrating her 37th birthday on the day of the attack. It was reported that her husband had sent her flowers, which she was picking up from the security gate when the explosion occurred. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Güçlü could not be saved. It is said that she and her husband had planned a special celebration for the evening.
Another victim, quality control officer **Cengiz Coşkun**, was from Sivas and was a father to a young child. His tragic death has deeply saddened his community.
**Taxi Driver Found in Car Trunk**
Investigations revealed that taxi driver **Murat Arslan** was killed by the terrorists, who then placed his body in the trunk of the taxi. The attackers used the vehicle to flee the scene, leaving behind the tragic evidence of Arslan’s murder.
